Kobe with 2.1 seconds left hits a three from FAR behind the arc to take the game to OT, and then leads the Lakers to victory. I'm still steaming about this, the Pistons had it won (no pun intended :whip: ). Right when Detroit was about to steal 2 games from the Lakers going to Detroit Kobe pulls this out of his ass as he always does.
Sorry just had to let out a little steam
PS: I'm not a Kobe hater, I think he's an amazing and talented player, but I'm just pissed that everyone is saying that it was such a valiant effort and that it was a tough battle when the Lakers were MUCH more favoured to win. Bah. |

he wasn't that far off the arc, and rip let him go....
I am more piss about the 3 pt foul play with shaq right before that...and the missed shot....there were way too many chances given to the lakers.
hopefully in detropit we'll kick their ass.....heh I always us the term we when talking about det teams.....thats funny....

Ive never been a big fan of the Lakers, but I had no reason to hate them either, UNTIL this season because of 2 reasons - Malone & Payton. These loosers couldnt win a ring with the teams they spent their entire careers on so they hop on the bandwagon and join a team that is highly likely to win. That would be like Patrick Ewing joining the Bulls in '98 just to win a ring before MJ retires. WTF!

its not that i even hate the lakers. i used to LIVE for basketball...but no anymore. i do find it a little stupid though that all the veterans just join the team for a ring.
really i just don't think athletes should get special treatment under the law like they obviously do. |
