This is gonna sound weird, but I've decided to sell my two-day old Allen and heath Xone:62 mixer. I bought it two days ago at Guitar Center brand new for $1150. Its an amazing mixer, but its just not the mixer for me. I'm looking into getting the new Denon instead, maybe even a DJM. The Xone is too much for me. If anyone is interested, PM me or reply. I'd like ot get around $1000 for it. Thanks for any interest. |

I never really considered taking it back. I figured I used it for a few days, it's not new anymore. I guess its worth a try. |

The fact that you can't hear eq changes in regular cue mode. The onyl way to do it is through the AUX function, and even that way only allows you to hear eq changes in one cup. Add to that, the general quality of the sound while using the headphones is awful. I had two people play with it and confirm the fact that it is considerably more difficult to hear and distinguish beats coming out of the Xone 62 than almost any other mixer. The filters were cool, but other than them, I really really don't see what all the fuss is about. |

Must admit I don't bother with eq on the CUE channel. Don't need it anyways.
Would be interesting to know what headphones you have?
Cheers

Hmm... strange that it should sound bad. Well, either way you have a good mixer at your disposal and that's the main thing.
Actually when you think about it the A&H is overated in my humble opinion. I find the faders too long to be able to get really creative with it and prefer working on the DJM 600 myself even if I own a Xone 464.
Enjoy either way. :)
Cheers
