That's called the kamaaina rate and it is sweet. But only for certain things. All you really need to do is look local and end all your sentences with a question.

I would take everyone else advice to and bang hot Hawaiian chicks. Tell them you're moving onto the island and they'll love you. |

yar kamaaina rate it is... i have a buddy on oahu and in hilo side.
they all drink steinlagers for some reason on hiloside.
if you're on oahu you don't even need to speak english (if your japanese is good enough that tis) |

What about Kauai? I'm going there for 10 days in September for a wedding. I heard that Kauai is a very exclusive, smaller island with nothing to really do except CHILL:cool:

| I don't know jack about the geography of Hawaii, i went there about 6/7 years ago, but i suggest you go look at Pipeline/The North Shore if you can.....its pretty awesome. They have HUGE waves there a lot of the time, and its just crazy to see people surfing the waves. |

you should deff get up way early one morning and hike or bike up to a look out point and watch the sun rise with a really good trance mix :D thats what i did :stongue: it was hella cool, but i was tired the rest of the day
but it was worth it. |
