| its not bad. better than some of the edits and remixes out there. i know the c-quence remix was too similar to the original. as several have said, its nice what you've done to the melody and taken it somewhere new. take a look at what a few people have said, specifically luke and sunquest, and see if it adds/improves it! |

Ok, I gave it a listen... the only mixes I'd heard prior to this were the original & rank 1 mixes (thought the rank1 mix was REALLY disappointing myself), and although I didn't like the main melody in this one as much as the one in the original (didn't seem to capture the emotion of the original with the different lead), the rest of the track I preferred, felt very 'full' and complete; professional sounding almost. The technical niggles are minor... and have really already been picked up on in other replies so I won't repeat... overall it's damn nice though :)
Also.. I haven't heard the C-Quence remix, may check it out sometime... are there any other decent remixes worth listening to? |

first of all, i rate ur patches and choice of synths 10/10!
brilliant lead sound, but not too keen on what u did with the new melody itself, but it sounded great with the -24db cutoff filter :)
the percussion is great also, i do like what u did with the snare thing, how u added the flange to it to pitch it up, i do like that alot.
overall - a pretty good remix! |

Kicks are good, melody sounds ok. It misses some real energy though, I was never satisfied and was waiting for something more that would make me move.
Still good sound :) |

I like the first Synth with the high melody.
The bass is not clear enough and you should work
on your perc/claps!!!

yo not bad, but this is not NRG , close but this needs to be wayy wayy faster. and its is missing lots of NRG. this is more of a trance remix.
good job tho , not bad at all but not even close to great. |

The only thing I am majorly confused on is that the bass is "muddy" or "not clear"...I dunno, it sounded fine to me mixing it down, but I'll deffo give it another shot and add some more stuff tonight. I'll post a new thread tomorrow with the updated remix. |
