You can't take these types of threats as jokes anymore these days. I mean im one to believe that 9/11 could have been prevented some how or another......its impossible that nobody out there didn't have some type of clue/hint/intelligence of an attack. I dunno man but if i lived in NYC....I would avoid the subways by all means. Im not one to take chances and have my number picked by some friggin terroist....but thats just me.;) |

Yeah, I can respect that. It's just that this country is so very sensationalist and people get far too hung up in this stuff (albeit superficially in most cases). If we really took every warning we are exposed to in daily life seriously, we'd all be living in bubbles...

even if its useless it will still raise alot of thought in your mind on how to prepare if it did happen down the line.
for example, this 6/11 rumor. if its false, at least alot more people are more aware about this type of threat then b4 this rumor. i analyzed so many people on the subway today, more than i ever had in my life. from now on i will probably be more alert on the trains than usual.
even if its bull it still puts things in better perspective.
and what if its true? will we ever know??
imagine the plots that were foiled that we will never know about. |

| Since 9-11, especially since I was down there that day and a couple of weeks after, I've been sort of living my life like each day is my last because you really never know what can happen. 24-7-52 there is a possibility of another attack in NYC and other major cities. It's something that an individual has to accept. You can't go around living your life in fear because it'll drive you nuts. That's not to say that when a potential threat is made aware, you should not just dismiss it as BS. Just don't dwell on it. |

if its true, you can be the 2nd person to tell me, i told you so.
you know that we could be struck by an asteroid, and we wouldn't even know it till we saw a big flash of light, and felt the impact. Now that is something to think bout every day, and there isnt we can do about it. |
