Hi All,

Then:
Atari 1040ST (4 of them) running EdiTrack and GenEdit, later - Band in a Box (1st release - a fun toy). (2)Kawai K1, (2)Yamaha SY77, Yamaha TG77, Kawai K3r, (2)Alesis D4, Several other keyboards I can't remember, (2)Yamaha Multi effects (i don't remember which number), various other unremembered effects, tascam 8 track cassette, several unremembered mixers, All of the guitars, Basses, Drums, etc. for live shows.

Now:
P4 3Ghz, Cakewalk Home Studio 2004XL, FL Studio, Cakewalk Kinetic, Reason, bunch o soft synths.

Do I miss all of the old stuff? Except for the computers, YES!!!!! I wish I still had it.

Back in December '99:

*Gateway P4-P266M Pentium 2 266 MHZ
*64Mb SDRAM memory
*Creative Soundblaster PCI 128
*Fruity Loops 3.XX
*Cool Edit 2000
*Boston Acoustics MicroMedia 3 piece speakers
*Yamaha PSR-220 (never figured out how to connect it via MIDI)
*Yamaha PSR-270 (same story as above, haha)

That's it. Like I said, I could never find a MIDI cable in any store so I never hooked up my keyboards. Then in March 2002, I bought Magix Music Maker 6 and a MIDI cable. That program is so similar to Logic Audio. I didn't know what VST plugins was. Honestly, I didn't know jack. I only knew the Virus existed because I saw a review of it while I was in Korea in 2001. Anyway, in late 2003 I started buying gear and now I have way too much and I can barely touch it; no time to play. :(

2004:
*Asus P4P800 motherboard
*Pentium 4 2.6C overclocked to 3.12GHz
*2048Mb DDR400 memory
*Cubase SX
*Reason 2.5
*ReCycle 2.0
*Cool Edit Pro
*Waldorf D-Pole
*Orange Vocoder
*Steinberg Magneto
*Waves Platinum Bundle

I used mod before I went to fruity. My only problem with mod was effects were a pain to apply and have them move around correctly. Also I didn't like the way you couldn't easily make a sound short like you can with the volume envelope in fruity. It did me well for when I had it though.

I like how you have all that space in there...you can fit a lot of gear. :)

I have so much but most of it is in the closet because my room itself is tiny and I cannot spread everything how I want. My monitors are like a foot from each other...PC tower in the middle. No space kills me. :(

thanks:) That room was actually my bedroom (i had a big tv, couch, and lots of furniture), but i moved everything into this really small room, its very cramped, but who cares, now with this studio i'm never sleeping or watching tv again haha.:)

Haha I feel you, brother. I bought a 27" TV...haven't hooked it up yet. Only to the PC and camcorder. But I spend all my freetime, ehich is like 2-3 hours a day in front of the PC.
