Nu - NRG from Italy, www.nunrg.it and also bring out Manuel Le Saux to open for them(from Italy as well). I have direct contact with Manny's manager and owner of www.hyper-age.com agency. I am sure I don't need to tell you about how great Nu-NRG are, and as far as Manuel Le Saux goes, his Live mixes are absolutely flawless, he does a very popular weekly radio show on Trancesphere and has played at clubs all over Europe, a resident at major clubs in Italy with weekly crowds of over 5000 peeps. He's also going to be one of the headliners at Street Parade in Zurich and Street Parade in Italy later this year. I'll get the latest mix(es) from his manager for you if you like. Manny is very eager to come out and play in US and they are willing to work with any promoter on the price and whatever else to play here.

Let's give Justine a chance in LA at Trance Club Heaven. A lot of people are looking forward to that live PA in October. It may not sound as good as in the studio, but I guess that is part of the "live" aspect.

Had fun at Ronski Speed!! Nice meeting those who I did (Anthony, Leon, etc)....
Impressions of Ronski Speed: Awesome track selection, but had some horrible wrecks in there and he was slow at recovering from it....
But at the same time, I actually wonder a bit if the decks were a part of the trouble. There were some tracks where it just sounded like the drives on at least one of the decks was having issues...I thought I could clearly hear the records slightly changing BPM (sometimes speeding up a tad, sometimes slowing down a tad) on some tracks throughout the night right on there own while Ronski wasn't touching anything. It was really weird. I could be wrong, maybe my hearing is going a bit warped. :-p

Had a great nite listening to a great set from Ronski Speed. After 2 hours of great mixing, he kinda got tired and messed up on one of the transitions. Regardless, he put on quite a show.
The two tracks, Binary Finary and Monkey Forest did it for me. Shout out to all the T.A.'s that attended that night. Til next time. |
