Somehow Im still a Tiesto Virgin and reading the early reviews looks like guvy was bangin last night, so i gotta counteract it with something :tongue2
Club Eden: Nice Standard Ibiza Club with decent lazers and good sound system.
The Dj´s: Ferry Opened up the night with an hour and a half predictible set ( Think, Sahara, punk, rock your body rock, right of way, ect ect ect, adagio for strings) but it was good Ferry stuff,,, really into the crowd as usual and beating up the sound system with the mixer.
Judge Jules: Massive disapointment, for the amount of time this guy spends on the decks you would think he would have learned to mix by now... yuk. (Adagio for strings again though (some next remix))
Eddie Halliwell : For anyone who hasn´t seen this man in action.......:eyespop: :eyespop: words can´t describe the thrashing this guy laid out on us..... it seemed like he had 4 hands on the mixer and another 2 on the cdj´s unbelieveable....Im talking live remixes to almost every track and SOOOO into the crowd..... Half way through his set he jumped on top of the decks leaned down ajusted the mixer and then jumped into the crowd just in time for a huge drop and partied with the crowd for a couple minutes....... soooo unreal (only in ibiza type thing) Oh yea...at the end of his set he did some scratching on vinyl but it was kinda cheessy.. no Zabiela thats for sure.
Overall night 9.5/10 .5 missing cause of jules... but he still dropped some decent tracks......
Looking forward to my next guvy party because it sounds like the vibe is getting better and better in there!!!! Marco V in August or Labour of Love! |
