Do I live in the world's most bizarre city?

Inspired by the "Why is your city famous?" thread, I decided to ask this somewhat derivative question because I realised how odd the place I live in is, and I didn't want to hijack that thread. Does your city have unusual stuff/features? Here's why I'm asking:
In Brasília...

  • streets have no name: instead we use actual coordinates in a way that letters and numbers give you the exact location in the city (for example, I live in in SHIS QI 05, I used to study near SQN 303 and my favourite restaurant is on SQS 411... the system is a bit complicated to be explained if you don't know the city though).
  • There's no mayor, as the governor has the right to mess things up here :p
  • We've got the world's widest avenue for some reason I can't understand, as the speed limit is just 60km/h and it takes you from the bus station to another bus station... and no buses go from one station to another :toothless
  • The city was designed in the shape of a plane (so it's not unusual to say you live in the "South Wing")
  • The whole city is built in a post-modern style, so you have square churches (bad pic, sorry) and banana-shaped cathedrals...
  • We have a low rate of traffic signs: instead we have what I believe you guys call merry-go-round all over the place, reason why most outsiders say Brasília's got no corners...
  • Most avenues are straight: you can cross the street in 5 or 6 different avenues without moving your steering wheel that much.
  • During the dry season (as we don't have what you guys call winter, autumn, summer and spring) the humidity is drier than in Sahara, but in the wet season, it rains as often as in London.
  • The whole city is built in condos which explains the coordinates a bit more. Also, as in SimCity, you have specified places for stores, houses, hotels, gas stations... so you never find a house near a hotel, for example.

Are there other bizarre cities?
