I was wondering if you can save mastering effects into the sound sample itself and have it work right?I want to put a compressor over my kick and not have it take up cpu by saving my kick compressed instead. Is this wise?Any suggestions on any problems that arise from doing this kind of thing.Do some of you make loops and render them to wav and put them back into your song so the effects don't cook too hot? |

compress your beat in your wave editor and put it back in the sampler afterwards. A compressor won't save that much anyway I think.. reverb, delay, polyphony are very cpu eating |
