how dare you disagree with me.. oi. Was Mr. Goodboy the way we learned the alphabet in pre/elementary ??? Those characters made of letters w/ the songs.. for example: "I'm Mr.M, the muncy mouth.. my mouth goes munch munch munch..." or am I totally off?
OH.. the dot system !! for all numbers 1-9 that I learned in Elementary school for addition and subtraction. I still use it to this day. I can't do 7 + 8 in my head.. I use these imaginery dots on the numbers.. so when out in public I hate using my hand to do the dots, I just barely move my head to count the dots.. am i making sense ?? Well, if you've used the dot method you would understand. Yes, I know.. im horrid when it comes to math.. the whole dot system isn't a long process.. it's not like it takes me 3 min. to compose 7+8.. I just do the dots really fast.. umm ok.. im done |
