ālrite i dun hav a lotta time and i canīt even post in white cuz this Spanish keyboard is driving me nutz.. anyhow... so the usual..

- glorious weather
- hot women everywhere omg.. (such a TOTA manfest thing to say but i had too..)
- if you think Canada winning the GOLD in hockey was nutz.. you should see what these people in their countryīs capital are doing just because of Spainīs victory over Russia last nite.. i couldnīt get any sleep cuz of the cars!

one word of advice for anyone every planning on travelling alone.. use ur TA resources!! there are TAs literally in every corner of this earth and theyīre more than willing to help u get around. one Iberian TA shockwavedj has helped me a great deal and i hope to receive the same type of help once i get to Barcelona..

anyhow .. donīt have a lotta time here cuz the Prado museum is closing shortly, but iīll add more info as soon as i get the chance..

to Mobius and cono0sur i still know about the payments donīt worry !!

adios amigos!!

ps. the language ! argzz!!

ahh siii, Madrid.. don't you love the traffic jams at 6am?
"Nobody goes to bed in Madrid until they have killed the night" - Hemingway
:D

btw, you're going into Prado shortly before it closes? Or did you just finish with it? I remember spending about 9 hours in there.. And it was free (ISIC is a good thing to have in Spain -- in Italy you won't get anything out of it though).
---> don't miss Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (with Madrileno take on Centre Pompidou - Beaubourg in Paris :p.. although there's nothing compared to it!) if for nothing else then Picasso's Guernica (but there's plenty of Miro and Dali in there if you can't hold off til Barcelona..)

Catch Almodovar's "La Mala Educacion" while you're in Spain - awesome.. so what if it isn't subtitled, just the thought of watching Almodovar - in Spain - is chilling :)

enjoy!

ps. i leave for Barcelona on Wednesday for the Sonar 2004 Festival .. something like Dave Clarke, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Adam Freeland and a bunch of other DJīs are playing on some beach or something. and oh yeah they were playing trance in the chill room of our hostal .. PVD - Crush .. it was jokes .. everyone here seems to know what Gatecrasher, Godskitchen and Ministry of Sound is .. and yeah Ibiza is like the Cancun of Europe .. wells atleast for the English and Aussieīs it is.. look our for Greece tho .. itīs coming up fast on the come up ..

dEsidEL
oh yeah .. i forgot to mention that me and one other person from my hostel went to a local pub to catch the England vs. France match.. man it was unbelieveable.. the entire place was packed with English and French fans and other Europeans.. the amount of intensity and enthusiam in the place was like nothing that iīve ever seen ..

anyhow, my prediction of a 2-1 victory for France with England scoring first came to fruition.. i shoulda put some money on it .. ah wells heh ..

iīve got some PICS or STFU and vids of the pub thing too .. hopefully iīll get those up soon as soon as i get access to a USB port..

cheers x 2
