Dj Sakin - Protect Your Mind (Lange Remix)
Went to my first proper club aged 16, and the DJ spun this. I'd never heard it before or really knew much about the whole trance Scene - My jaw hit the floor (not through drugs ;) ) and I danced like a looney and spent the rest of the night pestering the DJ for the name of the track :D |

I know this sounds a bit cliche but..
Rank 1 - Airwave
from summer 2002, the best time of my life. Its one of those summers that always comes into the conversation when i'm with friends.
This was dropped as the last tune of the night one night in august (cant remember the exact date) and the place went nuts.
still get chills when i here it. |

Agreed! I can't believe I forgot about that one. That is one song I would never get sick of hearing. I would of loved it, if Tiesto would have played it last week, but he didn't.:( |

Chicane- Saltwater (thrillseekers mix)
The very beginning of this choon is a stress reliever in itself. It just helps me breath and flow. I love it so much.
Paul Van Dyk- Tell Me Why (The RIddle)
I dont know what it is with this song, but the vocals just hit me. Reminds me of hanging out with friends and wishing for some one to be my significant other lol.
Then there's a version of Ayla-Ayla that I have a HUGE connection with, but I dont know which version it is...on the thing it says dj tiesto-ayla, but i dont think he ever made a track called ayla. Not sure.
Anyhow that song is amazing. It's the song i picture when i think of my life finally coming together. |

Looks like Chicane - Saltwater is a fave for memories out there...
A song that brings back memories for me would have to be BT - Godspeed. BT performed a Laptop Symphony at Two Tribes in Melbourne, Australia and started with this (with some great accapella piano intro) after a power outage. That week was one of the best weeks of my life...
My Dad's wedding, 2004 Australian Grand Prix, and Two Tribes... The best way to spend an Autumn Long Weekend. |

Close call between two, both already mentioned :)
Chicane - Saltwater... the memories connected with it are kinda melancholic I guess, about a girl in particular from a few years ago who I got completely headed by and almost driven to suicide (don't ask).. every time things got too much this tune would reduce me to tears and make everything seem alright again.
Tiesto - Suburban Train, memories of my first ever trance clubbing experience at Global Gathering just come flooding back to me every time I hear this. Tiesto dropping it resulted in one of the best, happiest single moments of my life so far, such a perfect tune.
There are loads... but those two stand out the most. |

-* Orbital - Halcyon *-
Was the first really trance-ey song I heard, and it was in two movies that were hot when I was growing up. It set the bar for me, and remains one of my all time favorites. Vocals, melody, bassline, it's all there, can't be beat.
One of those songs that you listen to and just instantly brings you back to a lot of old, good feelings. You know what I mean. :clown: |

Leama - Requiem for a Dream (blazed, emotional experience)
PPK - Resurrection (flame me all you want but when I went back to my homeland for the first time in 4 years it was just very emotional, leaving again, it was just difficult)
Coldplay - "Rush of Blood to the Head" and "In my Place" (I don't like rock but I was in England and it was just fenomenal, I love the place) |
