i thin you can use sta as long as you are under 27. and everytime i have used student universe i havent had to produce any sort of ID. |
the first time i used student universe i had to prove i was enrolled with my bill and school schedule, but they havent asked for it since. by far they have the cheapest rates. |

My girlfriend just got a ticket from New York JFK to Manchester, cost her $662. THat is the cheapest we;ve seen it in a long time. Flights to Manchester WILL NOT be direct, sorry. They all connect at Heathrow, but the stop over time is about 1 hour and a half.
It is also cheaper to fly to manchester than london heathrow strangely enough. Well it was when my g/f bought her ticket last week.
I may try this student universe website coz obviously i fly allot with my gf being american. How much are flights etc..?
Also need to start collected airmiles. Been to usa 4 times now, all with different airlines, and i have no clue how airmiles work. |

that would put me jsut under you then in terms of ****ness.
anyway, its also apparent that americans or north americans for that matter just don't get the british humour, all your flaming above is another classic example to back that up
also newcastle is supposed to be home to the friendliest people in the UK by reputation, but because you know absolutely nothing about newcastle (even though youu think you do) the joke went over your head twice.
cock-off andy.
politicsofdancin, as you faintly guessed it was a joke. if you do decide to come via newcastle make sure to check out foundation night club. we get loads of great Dj's there, and you get to see me warm up once a month. i would be happy to provide you with VIP tickets for the closest weekend your around for. PM me if you're interested! btw.. here's a link to the promise 'friday' night webby: http://www.promisealways.com/ which is oen of the main nights at the nightclub. |

Matthew, what airlines do you usually use to go from UK to New York? Could you recommend a few cheap ones you have used? It doesnt really matter where abouts I fly from in the UK, although the more south the better really. I am probably going in Novemeber but really want to start booking my flights now while I actually have some money before becoming a poor student next year. |

OK OK !!! CALMDOWN EVERYONE!!! geesuz! nell, i have been in newcastle since my bf goest to uni there. i have been to foundation, its a nice club...will TAKE YOU UP on that offer next time im there. TA ;)
matt, there are a few direct flights from newark and jfk to manchester. some of them are costly some are decent prices. i was wondering if you can tell me what airlines your gf bought her 662 bucks airline tickets? i'am sure its not non stop right? i really don't want to sit in the airport for a gazzilion hrs :( hehe o btw..you have to check the airline rules bout miles etc...they usually want you to sign up and become a member.. i.e. british airways has this executive club member thing. british airways also have a "one world" thing were they are affiliated with other airlines like american airlines, cathy pacific , etc etc..just go to the airlines that you flew with website..they should have some handy information in there..you have to rack those miles..you prob already have a FREE ticket. hehe
mikey, you can find loads of cheap prices from UK to new york...just ask , i don't bite hun :p
i looked thru sta travel and student universe...yeah there prices are cheap but that WITHOUT the taxes and all that BS they add to the flight price :( sucks yeah yeah.. i have my eye on this NON stop continetal flight from newark to manchester its only 700 bucks. and british airways, i'am in their executive club member. hopefully i will start racking up these miles and w00ppa FREE TICKET!
but thanks alot to everyone that helped out...keep bringing them in heh
cheers
