PvD on Fox

I was just flipping channels and swear I heard PvD - Time Of Our Lives. I snapped back to the previous channel and yes, indeed, Mr. Van Dyk was being played during the last few scenes of FOX's new trash-o-drama "North Shore". Wow...the times they are a changin'. Good? Bad? or Indifferent?

eh I remembering seeing the video for it on Muchmusic a while back... no biggie!

WTF? Since when does Much plays electronic music? I gotta see that video. Since Much put R U Receiving? show under the gilloutine/axe, I dont watch that stupid channel anymore. I mean, that show played ONCE a month for ONE hour playing electronic dance music videos (everything ffrom trance to ambient, techno, d n b, retro, etc.). HOW F--KING HARD WAS THAT TO DO??? AND THEY CANT EVEN DO THAT ANYMORE!!!! F ARSEWIPES ....

MuchMusic can kiss my arse ...

Why is everyone so negative? I think it's awesome for PVD and for our music in general...PVD has been sponsored by motorola and i think it's awesome cause he did an ad for them and they have official PVD ringtones on the website ;)

yeaaaah trance seems to be creeping into mainstream channels more and more I've noticed recently.. Z103.5 has been playing Armin and Tiesto on regular rotation:disbelief

Yeah but it's not a bad thing is it? I think it's great...it's like Tiesto said, the more of that we get the bigger events we can host...and bigger festivals especially in north america where this genre of music is still in its infnacy

oh i just listened to that Tiesto interview... looks like those t-shirts make an impact too:D

Tiesto's position isn't really objective. He has a lot to gain if EDM becomes commercially successful in North America. I personally would rather be at a party with 1000 people who are there for the music than 10,000 people who are simply there cause they've heard an artist's record caned on the radio. I know it's an elitist point of view, but selfishly, I have nothing to gain by being submerged in the next trend in popular music.

Muchmusic needs a VJ that knows EDM. Anyone here wanna try out for the next VJ search?

I dunno for some people liking EDM is a form of being "different" some kind of a subculture...I think it's stupid personally...I would love to have more people listening to it personally I think it's great...it leads to better things overall in the future :D I really don't see any negativity about it in Holland in an event with 50,000 people...it's increddible!
