i was on a party in 8th grade and they played this song like three times in two hours, i hated it at first and liked it more and more every time i heard it.
now it's just a guilty pleasure - but i'll probably remember that synth line for the rest of my life. |

Weezer did a cover of it.
But yeah, it was one of the songs that got me hooked on trance. Sadly, that and a lot of the DDR songs relaly did it. Oh, and stuff my Spacegirl. My sister made me attain some of her stuff for a cd she was making for a friend and i listened and thought it was pretty cool. I'm just glad my tastes have changed. |

I like the Dumonde mix though......nice heavy beats and bassline.....very Dumonde.

I had this CD back in 1999, This is Dj Jurgen His Favourite Trax and "Better off alone" was on it but under the name Dj Jurgen.
I must admit it was one of the first tracks that got me into trance :rolleyes:
I dont mind the tune, its cheesy but still it work on parties :)

| Ah, I used to really like Better Off Alone back then. Now I'll still listen to the jolly Signum Remix once in a while, but the original version is just too simplistic to endure repeat listens. |
