100MB? vs the 2MB at hotmail? Didn't they already have like 6MB?

All I know is that yesterday I was using 93% of my allotted storage. Everytime I logged in the damn thing was red saying I was almost out of storage. Today it notified me that my storage had been increased. I am only using 6% now. Yesterday I was thinking...is it worth the extra change to increase the size of my storage to accommodate the files in there. Today I don't have to worry about it. Nice surprise. First they took measures to try to clean up the spam and now this. Woohoo Yahoo!!! :D

Starting at around 8:30 am EDT (12:30 UTC), a number of sources started to report a widespread Akamai DNS issue. Large web sites, which use Akamai for its DNS service, did no longer resolve. Effected sites are Yahoo, Google, Microsoft, Fedex, Xerox, Apple and likely many others.

A widespread electronic attack on a company that handles traffic for some of the world's most-visited Web sites knocked several high-profile sites offline for at least 45 minutes early Tuesday. The attack targeted Internet servers run by Cambridge, Mass.-based Akamai Technologies, which distributes and manages Web data for companies such as Microsoft Corp., Yahoo Inc. (Nasdaq:YHOO - news), Federal Express and Xerox Corp. It also handles traffic for the FBI (news - web sites) and washingtonpost.com.

Akamai spokesman Jeff Young said the attack interrupted service to the Web sites around 9 a.m. ET and lasted for just under an hour. All the sites are currently accessible.
