Stereo headphones?

I've been thinking about buying a nice pair of stereo headphones, but it's hard to decide on which ones to get. I like the look and sound of the Sony MDRV-700, but from what I've read, they're prone to falling apart after about a year of heavy use. I need something that puts out superior sound, fits the $100-120 price range, and is going to last me more than a year.
Suggestions? I've been looking at http://www.etronics.com as far as prices go. Are the Technics headies worth the money? |

| Sonys MDR 700 are nice for djing... but for home listening they seem to pile on the bass a bit heavy... now Sony also makes studio monitors wich give a pretty decent "true sound".;) |

| i just bought a pair of sony mdr-7506s alittle while back. they're nice and comfortable and have good sound. i also have a set of the v700s, i like the 7506s alot more because they are way lighter, sound better, and are generally just more comfortable. $89 @ etronics, thats where i bought them |
