New Track - Thoughts Please

Hey everyone I was hoping to get some thoughts on this track I've been working on from all of you out there who are way better at this than me. Thanks

hehe..hope you can get some good feedback from someone who isnt way better :)
my first impression was that it lacked something, perhaps a more complex beat, some added percs and fx.
it has a good flow troughout the track, altough at the break at 2.54 when you complete kill the synthline the track looses some of itīs momentum...perhaps add longer delay or reverb to it..layer your pads and make the fuller...kinda missed that too..fatness.
my guess is that this track could use some mastering, im not skilled at mastering but I think mastering could boost the entire track alot
Im listening to this song at max volume and when I compare your track to any other track itīs big difference in volume.

alright :)
kick is toooo quiet
over all the whole song is quiet, but the kick is too quiet
the melody is really good, its only the mastering, and that background rolling synth sounds too computery :rolleyes:
if u fixed it up well enough , could be a great song in my opinion :whip:

| Yes, I have not mastered it at all and had to bring volume down so that when the kick rolls at the build it doesn't clip. I am pretty new to this and having trouble figuring out how to bring everything together at the right levels so every part is loud enough, but not too loud. Any advice on that? Thanks for the comments!! |
