Dance in the sun:
On my speakers it sounds like the snare is distorting. It also seems that the bass is contributing to that too.
the melody is nice, cant make any suggestions on it.
I cant make out what the vocals is saying, is just distorting. Either cut it completly or clean it up if possible.
The song has a nice flow and is pretty good to listen to, but the beat and especially the snare needs some work/other samples.
True Underground:
Nice and dark, much better bass and overall sound on this one.
But again, I dont really enjoy the snare/openhihat, sounds hollow..perhaps change sample and EQ/reverb them...and again the vocals are to mushy..cant hear what they are saying/singing
and at 2.02 when there are alot of cymbals and a clash there is something strange. dont know what happens if it is because itīs too much high frequencies but the sound "hisses together" and there is just noise..dead sound...dont know how to explain it but what Iīve found out in mastering is that there might be to much high's.
Overall the 2 tracks has potential but needs some work.
take care, |

| I think you should concentrate on making solid tracks, and then if people consider them good enough, they'll be signed, making tracks with the sole aim of being signed isn't what trance is about imho |

I'm not trying to just get signed. I've been doing this close to 5 years and I'm proud of my creations. What I'm trying to do right now is focus on the production quality of my work, to step it up a big notch. I've done the underground thing for a long time and it seems like the only other outlet left is vinyl and label releases. I've actually gotten strong positive feedback from labels already, the problem is my production sound keeps getting complaints. They say I got good ideas, I just need to gel the mixes together better. Which is why I'll be investing in better equipment and getting rid of some of my more low budget approaches. Thanks!
Best,
