I have two Numark TT 1625 an the cartridges i use are Stanton Track master 11 So Why does it pop when you put the needle on the record ? Or sometimes I hear a high hisning sound . It can be a couple of things. I would check the condition of the stylus and make sure it's clean, next, i would also clean any dust that has collected on your records b/c that may also cause pops and clicks. Next if all else fails, try to use some form of static remover/protecter like gruv gilde. Above all, i doubt it's your mixer. cryo he must be nervous cause he just bought a new mixer dj chex i just find it sad that some of the high school graduates i attended school w/ couldn't read or write at a high school level.
