His album was a typical one hit wonder album. It had a couple of "ok" tracks but every single track was trying to ride off the same basic idea (buzzing noises, low bass, "funny" samples). The joke got old pretty quickly.
Monday Massacre/No Day Massacre owns though. |

Agreed. I do like "Analog Worms Attack". It's alright. |

i have to disagree mate... well in a way i guess. but flat beat was a completely different sound, thats why it was noticed, also with it being on the levis advert, it was bound to get recognition... also still.... flat eric himself being the loveable mascot behind it all, everyone was drawn to this track thru fashion or as a trend. unfortunatley after ppl bought the album n stuff they realised they dont actually like this style. but in my opinion is a very underrated style. i used to have analog worms attack and i loved listening to it from start to finish, my basic understanding of it being filthy hiphop beats with cheeky glitches... i liked the idea, such a shame others did not :(
my argument being, ppl m ight have loved motorcycle - as the rush comes, but then checked out othe G7D stuff and realised they dont like prog [we are talking about ppl in general, not edm fans] |

Flat Beat is the best dong ever in the humble opinion of this rodent.
I own 3 copies of the original on vinyl, the cd maxi single, and 2 copies of Stay Fresh which is a mashup between Flat Beat and Wildchild- Renegade Master. It is not as good a mashup as Funky 4 Dinner - Shake Your Head (which I will pay a handsome sum for the vinyl of btw) but it is still pretty cool.
Monday Massacre has the heaviest bassline on earth. I believe it might actually use the "brown" note. :toothless
Oh ya...I also have all three sizes of the plush Flat Eric dolls.
I am close to being obsessed I think.
