mmm....well

I have done nothing but support 5am. I have seen many things change in 12 months. I am known to generally stip things along and seems have done so away from TA. I agree it is not for public consumption but surely things get better with disscussion. Now I can't get a response from "5am" so how is this constuctive?

All that said I love what 5am tands for because without them I would have to go to bass station or hard kandy or somthing and and I am not about to do that. I just love watching Chris (its all about music), Steve (hugs), Mangler( love the dancing) etc play their styles really get to me and what they do behind decks makes my smile and contributes to the vibe (mabo) of the night.

Hope I am still welcome.

Well well. Quite an interesting thread indeed. Many good points raised, heaps of dumb said, with a bit of humor for good measure..

So.. about this Stipsy character, I am a bit curious. Melbourne’s “man of mystique” touted as a “trancelord” and “widely respected” Plenty of achievement has been alluded to but none specified.

What credits does he have to his name? Would Stipsy, or one of his “disciples” care to explain what gives him the right to start such a silly fight?

And if he is such a hero that we should all worship compulsorily, could we have a reason why? Or is he happy to sit back casting what transpire to be wildly unfounded aspersions (ie. his opening post)? What I can’t understand is if he is such a trancelord, why did he leave himself open to have the ass eaten out of his initial post?... Do I smell an ulterior motive? You’re right mate; it was a “rant” and one rife with hypocrisy.

some people think before they say things..

From an outsiders objective viewpoint:

Yes, arguing on the net is retarded, and sometimes funny, but what is personal should stay personal and so starting threads like this is counter-productive, unless your criticism is constructive – let’s face it, that was not the intent, and largely not the outcome – so what was your agenda?!?

Random dribble?.. err. Did you read the post or the subsequent replies?

and in answer to your question:

"..By not revealing name, age, gender, and physical appearance, cybersurfers can make connections otherwise not possible. Singer (1996) argues that virtual anonymity is “not entirely a bad thing” considering that it provides some defense against bias and stereotyping. She notes that online “we are equal in ways we may not be in ‘real’ life. We are judged by what we say, not who we are” (p. 100).."

I didn't think I'd need to spell it out to you though Paulie (1827 posts later)

I'm not scared, but I am honest, which is what matters IMHO :D
