| This may be irrelevant to many or all of you, but i was reading this thingy on this site about some ex government astronomer saying that from June 18th 2004 till about the 26th or 27th, meteor and an 'anomaly' will hit the earth! OH NO! lol anywho, sounds interesting yet believable in the sense that he backs up everything he states with good evidence! xorz! anyway it's like 5am or something and i'm bored, somebody please talk lol. i'm disturbed. |

When you think about the size of the sky and the size of the rocks involved, even if a massively sized meteor like the one that killed off the dinosaurs was heading straight for us, we probably wouldn't even get an hour's warning, if that.
Like in 1991 an asteroid missed us by 106,000 miles (in cosmic terms that's like a bullet being shot through your sleeve without touching your arm), and we didn't even see it until it was past us.
The same thing happened a couple of years later, but this one was only 90,000 miles away (and again we didn't see it until it had already missed).
And if an asteroid that big did hit earth, we'd probably all die out. So no point really worrying about it :) |

| You want to hear something more freaky, Nostradamis once predicted that 2015 will be the end, now something more freaky to back this up was that the Egyptians and Celtics 1000 years before this predication had calenders which all finished on 2015. |

Some stuff Nostradamis though did predict was the Atomic Bomb before Einstein conducted the formula for it.
described it as "A great mushroom cloud of destruction", i think this was said around 1800s
I'm sure he got other stuff right, though i don't have the book here that tells you about them all :o |
