so yeah Sat is the big nite and the finale of the festival.. its gonna be held at this huge ass venue by the beach .. outdoors 20,000 people and the best weather u could ever imagine! heres the lineup..

wow.. sounds like that festival will be amazing.. especially with who's playing there..

have a blast Em, you lucky bastard :toothless

:edit are you going to see the sketch show? i've seen videos of Ryoichi Kurokawa work his magic, and hearing innovative classical music (by the man who worked on the soundtrack for The Last Emporer among other things) during that would be sweet. it's today, so go check it out!

realistically i dunno cuz thereīs juss so much goin on rite now .. i think Christian Vogel (?) is doin a software demo at the Sonarama venue of various audio and visualization tools.. for any amatuer producers out there u would love this ..

anyhow 2niteīs the big nite for SonaClub .. the festival has like 12 different venues at 3 major sites within Barcelona itīs freaking crazy plus there are all these other international DJīs in town for one reason or another.

today was the first day of cloudy weather.. but u can always count on good old Spain to have little moments of sunshine on a cloudy day. and one other thing, the Catalan people are totally beautiful. they have this amazing sense of style and way they move thatīs totally awesome. infact this entire city is so funky u wonīt believe it. even the foreigners here look funky. there are entire blocks of the city that kinda resemble Queen St. west and hav shops like them.

anyhow, good to hear that you guys are having a good time in TO. those reviews look sick. iīm gonna try and soak up as much more of this as i can before heading off to southern France to meet up with Mirza.

hav fun kids!

Wow Em,

Sounds like you're having a blast overseas... I'm so damn jealous of hearing all the stuff you've been doing.

Anyways bro, take it easy and keep the updates coming!

my review of the night:

headed down to the shuttle bus pickup poing with a bunch of international partiers. the event was held at the Barcelona Fia Convention Center.. the smallest room was about 3 times the size of the Koolhaus. The mainroom was so big u couldnīt see where the front of the crowd met the stage. Jeff Mills and Kid Koala had the best sets that night. There were about 35,000 - 40,000 ppl there. i took tons of pictars and vids that i will upload later. i think it was the greatest party iīve ever attended up to this point.

aye caramba!!
