As found on Paul van Dyk's website:

"Too loud? Too unpolitical? Too arrogant? Too drugged? Too dirty? These constantly asked questions married with negative coverage and comment from politicians, commerce and press have played a major part in the cancellation of Loveparade this year. The German city magazine Partysan calls out on demonstration: FIGHT THE POWER – CLUBCULTURE VS. IGNORANCE Protest against intolerance and narrow minded views of club culture and for the come-back of the Loveparade in Berlin in 2005! With our music and our politics – DJ´s sets and speeches. VANDIT will be part and have Paul van Dyk and NU NRG on one float! The demonstration move will be on Saturday 10th of July 2004. Starting at 5 pm at the Adenauerplatz on Kurfürstendamm, the move will head towards the Gedächtniskirche and will end at Nollendorfplatz. Over the course of the demonstation there will be two stops for manifestations, expected at Kurfürstendamm / Corner Joachimstaler Street and Wittenbergplatz. At Nollendorfplatz there will be the final manifestation, which ends about 22 pm. For acceptance of youth culture and against reactionary intolerance. Come and join us – show our protest and our love of life. More infos at www.fight-the-power.de and www.loveparade.de"

Well theres a love parade happening in San Fran.
beats and beeps
i guess this sort of relates to my thread...if trance wasnt related with E...the government would probably let it be(yes it shouldnt be related to the drug as much as it is...its not that big of a part of the events, but its enough to make an impact)...then again would it be so popular without E...i wish i could say "of course" confidently. Again im not anti E, no need for flames, i just want trance to stay alive, and be accepted moreso.
