| I dont understand why people are complaining about having such a bad time. Its freakin Tiesto... u make it fun regardless. You should know that when you get there and the show is "sold out" especially at Space ... the place is going to be jammed like freakin sardines. Hell i drove 3 hrs to go to the show and i didnt care whether i had to sit in the side room or not to hear him... i was going to have a good time no matter what. To the guy thats from ohio and saw people dropping and getting F'ed up... YOUR AT A CLUB!!!! Get used to it. People do X sometimes including myself... i'm not saying its right and i am not saying its wrong... there is a time/place/preference for everything. You cant get mad about it.. because its there always has been and always will be. Normally i am not this opinionated but geez... people everyone was there for the same reason.. to see Tiesto and have a great time. I do agree with one person had posted... tiesto wasnt in his usual mood. He wasnt smiling as much or bouncing around like he always does. But he is human and he as well as we all do... have our bad days. I think in the over all scope of things.. it could have been a hell of alot worse. Normally when i go to space the vibe is Horrible. People are rude and snotty .. this time.. i didnt come acrossed anyone like that... maybe i was at the right places at the right time. Tiesto is going to be here in Orlando Wednesday and you know what ... i am going to make it the same great time as i did on friday regardless. I HATE ICON!! but I LOVE TIESTO!!! and F' it no matter what you have to make the best of it! Enjoy the time with your friends and let go! |

Someone in this thread said that he might have not been in the mood because of his finacee......That would make more sense. I predict that after he gets married, his shows are gonna suck. :rolleyes: |

thats a load of crap...Only PvD sucks when his wife is there. Tij's fiance has gone to his gigs before and he has been just as good. I have seen him play both ways and his sets are just as good either way. I can def. see Buster annoying him tho, Buster annoys me and I don't even live there. Tiesto doesn't like people talking over the mic during his sets so I can picture him getting ticked off |

Hey dont get me wrong... i got knocked in the head god knows how many times... dude i had to duck when i was standing next to Arturo.. i though hes elbows were gonna give me black eyes!! (XXXXXXX to art!!! You know i love ya!!) And you know what if i was up there on the platform with ya .. i would have said BACK OFF BIATCHES!!! and kept on smiling! |

I have to agree with you. When I was feeling annoyed at Space (while on that podium) I removed myself from that main room and went into the side room. Things improved for me and when I got back into a better mood I went back to the main room. It's all about attitude and state of mind. Whether you think so or not...you do have control. No point in bitching all night...it won't change anything.

| Towards the begining of tiestos set, did anyone other than me, see some jackass worker kid, walk from the dj booth lounge accross the dj stage, right infront of tiesto, and give a high five to the lighting engineer? The worker kid was freakin IN BETWEEN tiesto and the decks. I saw tiestos face and he was like WTF, same with the lighting engineer. The kid almost ripped tiestos head phone cord right out as well. Tiesto was pissed, and i would be as well. Why the heck was that kid allowed in the booth!?!?! He MUST have got fired. |

Just wondering did anyone buy a Tiesto T-shirt that night? I got the one black one with the bird in the front and Tiesto's name on the back. Just need a Ferry Corsten T shirt and I got my Collection complete.
Oh and My thoughts on the night - Very Very Crowded but still had Room to dance . I arrived when markus was finishing his first set before tiesto and what I heard was awesome enough. Tiesto came on and everyone including myself went nuts . Truthfully I think tiesto mixing was right on but I have been listening to him ever since his first innercity set cd came out in 1999 and his track selection in my opinion was blah . Don't get me wrong Tiesto is still one of my favorites right next to ferry and paul in fact sometimes tiesto ownz all but lately I have been downloading some sets and in a way I am a little dissapointed at his track selection. I am just afraid I guess that he gets commercialized with his songs and his sets or maybe I am just crazy. I know I am a little of topic but dont some of you guys always wish that more and more people listened to what we listened to but at the same time never wanting to lose that underground music feeling that makes us feel that we belong to something special. Anyways I had a great time in fact a very good f***ing time but sometimes are expectations are to high I guess. Peace out. |
