No way man, what are you talking about??? Trance is music created by God himself, whereas Rap is just the devil's way of trying to get us to poop our pants.

The biggest reason why we listen to Trance is because of the "Vibe" that it sends. That vibe gives us a feeling that no other genre can give, but what is the "Vibe"? The Vibration. Everything in this Universe has a vibration, Sound has vibration, I know that you think that is a "no-duh",but you may have yet to realize is that music contains a double vibration. The first Vibration is the actualy vibration of the sound wave, the second is the vibration of emotion, so when someone says that they do not like Trance, it is becuase they do not 'vibe' with it. People like what they resonate with,

I agree with what you said up until that point. I wouldn't say any type is music is "better" or on a higher level than others. If done right, each kind of music can speak a story of its own, whether it's life, love, anger, sadness, harmony, and so on. What makes trance and electronic music different, in general, is that most of its vibe, like you said, is expressed in plain melodies, beats, and ryhthm rather than words, therefore allowing people to interpret and accept it as a language they can relate to.

I have experienced all types of music, and what I found is that when I went to Rap Concerts, people were extreamly unfriendly, and God forbid you bump into someone or step on someone's shoe becuase you might get the kicked out of you, Rock Concerts people were generally laid back, being waisted having a good time. But at Parties were there really wasnt much alcohol, people were extreamly friendly, girls were not stuck up, guys were chill, and you could tell that everybody was having a good time. Music has an emotional vibration and we have an emotional vibratioin, and the emotional vibration of Trance is of love, I know you listen to it, and that is the highest emtional vibration, which if you are open to it will raise your emotional vibration to that level, giving you that feeling, and no I am not sad, you are entitled to your opinion, just as I am.

For me trance has become almost an addiction. When i feel in the morning its the first thing i turn to that never dissapoints me. Relating to the sounds, the emotions in the melodies the synths and key changes, its almost a therapy. I went through a period of about 2 years in which i listened to the breakdown of orinoko "island" {Moogwai mix} just crying out. Some songs evoke so much, whatever it be. For me it has to be trance.

People like what they resonate with, and most people have lower vibrations so that cannot handle the energy and vibration of Trance. Rap being the on the lowest end, speaks of anger, materialism, and self-importance. Rock is in the middle and is of neutrality and the difficutly of life, House, Jungle, Classical, just above Rock, then Trance is the higest vibration of music that we currently know. Listening to it can give a feeling of inner peace, love, and happiness, and speaks of pure love, oneness, and true freedom. The vibration of Electronica has been of the highest. If you went to raves back in the day you know of the love that was present, X does a very good job of blocking lower vibrations, but people would have them return the next day causing depressing, but with the introduction of Alcohol(which is a numbing agent) you could feel the differnce of its introduction. Why do I post this message? because I am currious as to how many people on the web feel the same way as I. This music is here because we are ready for it, and it has the ablity to take us to the next level, and that is even explained in the music.

There is great irony in your post, Caelum. On one hand, you quote Einstein, paragon of modern science. On the other, you use pseudo-scientific terms like "vibration" and "resonance," which have precisely no business being used in the context they were. You declare that trance has two vibrations--one sonic, one emotional. The sonic one is atoms rushing back and forth at so many cycles per second. The latter? Our souls frenentically bouncing at the same speed?

And just how did you arrive at the ordering of soul-vibratng frequencies of different types of music? Is it a personal feeling? Not to rag on you, but it sounds terribly, terribly self-righteous.

But yes, I know precisely what you're talking about. The most ironic part is that trance as we know it today is not the music with the "highest vibration" as you new-agers might call it. Instead, look to what might be called "new age" music. It's so full of love you'll reach enlightenment on the spot ;). But most present-day trance music is made to *dance* to. Go back to the roots of "trance"--to the shamen beating drums, to the monks chanting endlessly--to find your pure, higher-plane music.

I don't believe that the vast majority of trance addicts listen to it because of some spiritual vibe, or that they are more holy than others. I DO believe that, because the music has a higher frequency and more potent sounds (deep basslines, the synths vs guitars), people are more energetic because of it. But you'll find just as much evil in the EDM world as anywhere else.

Read the book Power vs. Force by David Hawkins and it will make more sence, but there is a New Age term, Raibow children, and these are highly spirtual beings who have yet to identify themselves, but what is what I am trying to focus on is that the music is Spirtual, but men have a hard time expressing spirtuality, and this forum is mosty men, hence the reason i chose to put this on here, to see if there are guys out there who look at Music as something Spirtual, becuase I have already talked to many girls about it, just not many guys.
