I think I will break my silence to say
OMGGGGGGG SASHA OWNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eyespop: :wtf:
what a great in night. HIs set was incredible from start to finish. So groovy and sexy.
Sasha started his set nearly an hour late and ended it 10 minutes early, but honestly, I didn't care. Because it's Sasha, and when you are that good you can do whatever you want. He IS the Mick Jagger of EDM. lol
He is definatley the king of divas: Did anyone get a load of his little bitch who ran in 30 mins before he got there to make sure everything was setup and just perfect for Sasha? He had the Sonar staff go up on a ladder and turn off all the lights pointing on the DJ booth (prolly cause Sasha was FAWKED out of his skull) lolol :haha:
I gotta find out the name of that one track he played that Sander also played on Friday. Sander wasn't his best at Cubik -- his previous set at Sonar was much much better. Kazell was great though, spinning some wicked tribal.
It's great that Sonar opened up the new space, but they need to install some damn air-conditioning in there. Also, at some points, the aucoustics of the garage reminded me of Insomnia...oh well. None the less I had a fantastic time. |

i posted this in another thread last night:
he was en mint tonight. people were on their feet taking it all in the entire night. the sweet "ring" in my ears is bliss, (and i guess a sign i might go deaf, hehe, oh well)
clyde, sorry for scaring you! haha...it was so loud in there it was no wonder it took you a while to realize who i was. anyway man, did you get your stuff signed...nice poster by the way, got the crowd bumping...
btw who was that dumbass that threw a shirt on his decks?!?!?! wtf?! SASHA was PISSED as he had a record cued up and everything. Was it just me or did he throw the finger at them? I know he gave the guy/girl some really NASTY looks for a good 2-3 minutes. I would have thrown the record at them btw. What a dick move, whoever it was. |

Sasha threw down a great set last night, however I was hoping for Wavy Gravy at the end. Oh well. I thought Luke Fair's set was pretty sick as well, especially the tracks he threw down right b4 Sasha came on. Being my first time at a Baltimore club, I was very impressed with Sonar itself and the crowd. Everyone very friendly and into the music. Of course it wasn't NYC, but in my opinion, it blew away any experience I ever had in Philly!!!!! I was also excited to find out the Starscape lineup....looks pretty solid. Went in 2002 but missed last year. Overall great night, can't wait for PVD.

the very last track he played (his "encore") was Matthew Dekay Band - Higher Thoughts -- Joel said it was the Steve Porter mix?
He also played Chris Lake & Rowan Blades - Philth somewhere towards the middle. |

I just got home... he definitely banged it out just about the whole nite. Luke Fair did a nice job as well. The sound in that new room was horrible though.... no rear speakers made it echo. It reminded me of the old days of warehouse raves... I thought I was in the movie Groove for a second ha! I guess it helped thought create a nice vibe in there. Great nite and after party... |

wohoooooooooooooooooo!!!! omfg, i had so much fun...sasha tore that up...my friend willy even said so. it was his first club experience and he cant wait for tiesto this friday!!!! (hoping to bring more friends with us). luke fair threw 2 break beat tunes that i realy loved, unfortunately i dotn know them. it was aprety nice warm up. when sasha took over, ppl went nuts, everyone was yellin his name. it was fckin awesome, i couldnt beleive he was infront of me..! prety much the whole night i was dancing my ass off. i got my painting signed. when he went to thebathroom. i waited at the door and when he came out i handed him a marker and made him signed the painting. he said it was realy nice and he smiled. :) i was sooo happy . then i went in the crowd and showed everybody haha

anyway. it was nice meeting all of u , cryo, andrew, beema, joel, erin, her friend, limin li and mike! :D hope to see you all again at nation for tiesto. def was an unforgetable night.

we missed the exit and we had to loop all the way back around 695 to 95. we were kinda late, came in at 11:05 :), nice to meet u julian, finally, haha, u lcuky mofo u had the best spot in the club.
