| I just got home from Spundae...made it from Spundae to my house in Santa Barbara in 60 minutes. I was haulin ass like a soccer mom takin her kids to practice late. I had such a blast at Spundae. Johan Gielen and DJ Rap were awesome. I am so f'n tired....I can't see straight, I'll write more later. But yeah, what did you all think of last night? |

1. One extended word: AWWWEESSOOMMMMEE.
DJ Rap played an excellent opening set. She usually gets into the trance in the last 20-25 minutes of her set, but she played a lot of trance Saturday night including pretty much the entire 2nd hour of her set. That was the 2nd best set I've heard from her out of the million times I've seen her.
Johan - awesome, awesome dude. He played some amazing classics! He was a very cool guy, too. We saw him outside and he was just chatting it up with people. Was able to approach him easily, get pics, etc. And took more pics w/ him after it was all over.
His manager...she's real nice too.
I believe he went to Avalon afterwards because I'm sure he asked to be taken to "The Palace" after it was all done....he was going there for After Hours Power probably, since that was the one place he played at before in LA.
Dude from Godskitchen said he wanted to get Johan back to LA again, and up to SF, and I believe he said Chicago as well.
I'll get my pics up tomorrow if I can. I just got back from LA and am dead tired :p
