You might want to take a look at some music by Mark O'Conner.
He, Yo-Yo Ma, and Edgar Meyer compiled a CD called Appalachia Waltz. It is like contemporary appalachian music. |

used to play the violin in primary school. played it for abt 2 years then just one day i decided to give up, couldnt be arsed with it anymore.
i play the guitar now, its teh win. banging out metal riffs in drop d etc

Lots of violin shops will lend you a fine bow for a week or two so you can play on it before deciding whether to buy it or not. (audition week) |
