I listened to 88 mph and I like it quite a bit. I guess this is hard trance right? The sfx in the beginning give me a similar vibe to the soundtrack that Orbital did for the movie Octane. Dark and mysterious, scray and detached...
Then it got really hardcore and powerfull; has a fresh sound thought.
When that wasp/TS sounding synth comes near the end, its a nice energy build, but I think it needs to be more pronounced, like get some more cut and saw in it. Then the energu build but it never gets the full play out with all of the hi-hats and all. As I listened through the song, it all seemed like a build up toward something, but never got anywhere...I think you just need to get some simple hi-hats and cymbals going... |
