I was watching a comedy stand up with Ellen Degeneres, and she said the poem, but with a twist at the end...(She doesnt say it exactly the same, but very similar)
One night a I had a dream. I dreamt I was walking along the beach with you, Jesus. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One belonged to me, and the other to the you.
When the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that many times along the path of my life there was only one set of footprints. I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in my life.
This really bothered me and I questioned the lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed you most, you would leave me."
The lord replied, "My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I JUMPED ON YOUR BACK."
This is where she ends it off with "You know, I thought I felt kinda heavy on those days..." |

Hehe, she cracks me up with some of her stories, I dont find her to be an exceptional comedian, but I dont find her to be horrible. |

yea but black muslims are very common. black jews on the other hand.. :conf:
it would only make sense if they converted.
well im sure there are some around, but u dont see them around here very often thats for sure. |

It's very common. There are soooo many Persian/Jews out here in Southern Cali. Besides, religion is a choice. It has nothing to do with what nationality you are. Whether you're black, white, chinese, japanese... you can be jewish, if you want to be. |
