Reverse Racism boils to this
whites once set themselves apart from blacks and claimed privileges for themselves while denying them to others. Now, on the basis of race, blacks are claiming special status and reserving for themselves privileges they deny to others.

umm...this movie doesnt even give off the attention that its racist. Dude seriouslygrow the up and deal with problems in life cuz, believe me this aint gonna be the only one. This movie seems stupidly hilarious, and just because they are around a bunch 0f white people all the time in the movie, that totally makes them racist?? chill dude. i dont add fuel to the fire, but remember ITS A ING MOVIE..

Before some drooling idiot tries to pin me thinking the movie is racist:
I am annoyed that certain individuals think that racism - "Discrimination or prejudice based on race" - does not exist towards Whites; especially in America. It becomes fairly evident that the person has not actually had contact with actual black culture (which Whites may freely participate in) in the real world. The latent, and often blatant, anger and hostility towards any White person is infuriating to say the least. The whole idea of "White Guilt" which many authors of many races have written on (Unequal Playing Fields, Shades of White) is very evident and it is not something that most Whites feel intrinsically. The " you I didnt enslave blacks" idea jumps up immediately.
Why? Because any...ANY kind of repayment or "fixing" or "making up for" towards what was done is ludicrous. (inserts multiple arguments concering serfdom, who actually sold the Africans, and every race ever having had slaves here).
So how did this White Guilt appear, one may ask. If it isnt an INTERNAL feeling what other source could there possibly be. Hmmm..yes...an EXTERNAL force. Now. Lets use Occam's razor here and think. Who would benefit most from Whites feeling guilty about slavery?
I think ignoring the fact that White Guilt is a steady and pervasive force in society today is bowing down to the liberal agenda and basically being an obtuse retard. Oh oh SLAVERY EXISTED but NEVER WHITE GUILT. *Thats* ridiculous. :rolleyes: |

its in reaction to a previous racism. The flow has reversed. Thus the title. It helps clarify. Its simply a more specific type. You could also say it isnt racism its merely one of the facets of human interaction. We are trying to define the issue here, not obfuscate it. |

it doesn't matter if it is true to the definition of racism. reverse racism is an idea constructed by society and its norms. in our society there has traditionally been a white majority and others were classified and discriminated against on a basis of race. with a reversal of this traditional discrimination back towards whites, it is socially accepted as reverse racism so lets not try and stick to definitions. The people of a culture give phrases or wordings significance so reverse racism is a acceptable term. |

| Ah c'mon now guys, lets no argue over this topic, its pointless. If a black/white/asian/green/purple/tri-color producer wants to make a movie like the one which was first being discussed, all the power to him. Im against racism because of the fact it ruins the good person inside everyone. Everyone is the same deep down inside, we are all humans! Its not like im from planet Cracker and someone else is from planet Brotha! I mean , who cares! I get along with everyone of any color or race. As long as your not an , and your personality kicks ass, thats all that matters. |
