Well, i know this topic gonna look as many other one, once again the battle beetwenn Pio versus Denon.

It's reallly because i'm confused, i've already cross along many forums : the denon fans www.dns-5000.com and www.scratchworx.com (for their review regarding the x1500, i know we're not talking about scratch mixing, but that was a decent review anyway...) and many others.

Some are just always saying that by his functionnaly the S5000 overpass by far the pio : mp3, alphatrack, more hotcue, bigger memory, sampler.

Some are pretending, that mastertempo and accuracy is the key point to choose a cddj player so go for pioneer.

Furthermore the pio' is available everywhere, ad if by any chance would you ever play in club, go for pio'.

Well, i don't think i would ever give a gig' in a club... cos' i only wish to give myself a try as a bedroom dj.

Considering that for the moment, i won't buy two brand new cddj but only one, using an old normal one BST from a DJ mate to complete the set.

So here my question, what you thnik about this two couples :

May I go For the denon one (mixer X1500 & S5000) or Pio one (mixer DJM600 & CDJ 1000 MKII).

In regards of their respective effects on the mixers, which is the best and is it an important point to check before buying a mixer ?

Which one would be the more reliable and valuable in your opinion, thx in ad'.

and be sure i've already crawled the forum and web to get some info about these ;).

Both Cd players are excellent players... I own Denon's because they were cheaper and had more options... But I've used Pioneer's many times andthey are very solid machines....You really can't go wrong w/ either cd player...

For the mixer... I don't like the Pioneer mixers 500/600. We had nothing but problems @ the club I spin at w/ the 500 they have.
The Denon mixer looks cool as hell, but is really untested in club use... so I can't really comment on that.

My vote would be Denon CD players (cheaper) and an Allen & Heat 62 mixer.... The 92 is too damn expensive...
2 S5000's and the A&H would set you back about the same $$$ and you would get a system that will last and be top quality... you can get the A&H for under $900.00 which is around the same price range as the Denon and Pio mixers.

Thx for your reply Puma ;)

Truly helpfull ;)

Finally, i went for the denon set (CD player et mixer). It was the best deal in France.

Now, long is the road to learn, but at least, i made a step to the glorious title of "bedromm DJ" :haha: :haha: :haha:.

I gonna eat noodles for a while ;)
