| This has already been asked once in here a while back with no answers by someone else, now I am curious and I am going to try. What are people's recommendations when it comes to samplers? Somebody has to know something. |

Wrong forum lol
But from my extensive studio use and producing:
For studio use- an Akai S series -anything from s900 all the way up to the newer ones. Nothing can touch these in my personal opinion (although others swear by other brands)
The s950 is awesome- the looping is great on it and it can be picked up for peanuts
My S3000XL (smuggled in from japan dodging the import duty...naughty ;) ) is sitting upstairs covered in dust in a box with my other studio gear.
For use live- an akai remix 16 (very rare but very good), a yamaha SU-10, A roland Dj-70 or an akai MPC. |
