View this Thread in Original format mp3province hey there... i will be in amsterdam for a night or 2 on the 28th of june, before heading out to germany.... im having some problems picking a cheap budget hotel, single room, close to centraal station.. i found this cheap hotel called "dam hotel" located at Damrak 31...people tell me this is not a safe areaa.. could u guys go here and tell me which is a good place to stay: http://hotels.medialink.nl/amsterda...ls-by-price.htm also, if u wanna meet up on the 28th, let me know......thanks!! The area is oke, Amsterdam isnt a criminal city UNLESS you are stupid yourself to leave your bag wide open etc etc. Just dont trust all the turks/maroccans/etc that offer and play nice. Only thing you should be aware of is put your money at a save place (front pocket pants/inside pocket jacket) and don't buy drugs on the street.
