You would be correct mate - almost everything at that point used to be pressed onto acetates to play. This was probs played by Oakey from an acetate just the same :)

This is def a fake copy. Dunno bout the Orkidea mix, but Markus said in Armind once his mix was never released in any format. I got a rip of it once but then lost it - i was gutted big time.

i also reakon if it was a bootleg orkidea mix would just be on there alone.... thats the experience ive found with bootlegged tunes i reakon it might be real:D

Well if both Orkidea and Markus Schulz claim that their remixes were never put on vinyl, then obviously its a bootleg copy. Why would they both lie? And besides, the Markus Schulz remix was done in 2002 (I believe) and the Orkidea remix is from 1999. Oakenfold couldn't have played a vinyl from 2002 back in 1999.

Just as Oakenfold hammered Tastexperience's "Highlander" on acetates he could have very well hammered "Stage One" on an acetate as well.

i think jerry (aka red jerry) would be the best person to ask since it was him who signed the track and managed hooj choons for the good 13 years that it existed. ben will probably know or could find out for sure though!

everyone should just report the item to ebay, enough complaints and attention brought to it should be enough to have it removed.
