I've read Vert :) Have you read Automated Alice? Very strange :nervous:

Michael Marshell Smith is definetly on my to-do list after Only Forward. I have to admit I thought the book was was going off in the wrong direction when he started with the dream world stuff, but the way it all came together at the end was genius :D

Automated alice was a good idea not particularly well executed. Noon is big on word games, and the Alice/Celia thing and touches like that are nice. His later-published stuff like pixel juice and needle in the groove are better in that respect, altho Vurt is still my favourite. And spares is my favourite michael marshall smith, prolly coz i read it first.
