...well, they are almost the same song. anyone else notice this. well...if you've heard the two tracks it's kinda hard not to notice. i definately like "ppk - resurection" a lot better.

Yeah, they are the same. I heard PPK's version 5 months ago whe my friend pointed them out on mp3.com. I actually like space melody better, its less progressive with a better intro and buildups.

yeah...i heard about 5 or 6 months ago as well. maybe that's the reason i like it better than space melody. i've been listening to the ppk track for that long so i'm kinda use to. i've only recently heard the luna park track.

Man everyone is jumping on the PPK bandwagon now...I heard this song at least 2 years ago, and now its just getting popular. I even warned everyone on this site too last year, well without my help it blew up! hehe, whatever. peace,
oh and the melodies are prolly the same cause ppk is russian and took the melody from the actual music palyed in Gagarin's space craft on the first space flight or some like that...late

i wouldn't say that people are jumping on a bandwagon for the track. ppk are independant artists so it took longer for the song to be heard by many people. a lot of people who like trance still probably haven't heard the song yet...but it being heard by more and more people, and, as a result (since it is a good track), it is becoming more and more popular.

Oh I am well aware their independent status has kept PPK from the spotlight everywhere, but I jus think its funny cause its pretty much what all the TA euros feel when we north americans mention some really old song theyve played out already...I feel special for knowing about it, and knowing its a good song, but I just can't say I listen to it all the time or anything. I feel in the loop..hehe. late

trance music is, from what i gather, almost mainstream in europe. i beleive they play trance on the radio and on tv over there. here, in north america, when i tell people that i listen to trance music they say "what the hell is trance?" i would say that 80-90% of people here have never heard trance music before or simply don't know if they have because they didn't know what it is that they were hearing.

just an example. i went on a road trip with one of my friends last year. he was driving and it was night time. i told him that i was going to play one of my trance cds. he told me that he didn't want me to play it because he had to stay alert and that he didn't want to fall into a "trance" and get sleepy. he was serious. when i put it on he was quite surprised to hear what he was hearing. needless to say, he didn't end up falling asleep at the wheel.

most of my other friends didn't know what trance was. i had to make a mix cd of club music for one of my friends. i played it for him and i explained to him, "now...this song is trance.....and this is house music....and this is progressive."

nobody here really knows what trance is. the only time i hear trance being played on the radio is very late on a friday or saturday night when they do a live-to-air from some toronto club. daytime radio is filled with the same crappy, overplayed 10 songs from brittny spears or that lifehouse tune that i once liked until i heard it 8 times a day...everyday at work.

there is no real exposure to trance music here and that is probably why we are behind europe when it comes to keeping up to date on our tunes. althought...i do beleive that the webmaster of the greatest trance site on the internet is from north america....canada in fact.
