at first i wasn't feeling it and i was kinda pissed off 'cause of the ing rain, but then i was like " it" and i didn't pay no mind to the rain anymore, and i allowed myself to have a ing blast... my favourite track of the show was ENERGIZEEEEEEEEE, i went nuts when pvd played it...

Regardless of rain, i had a blast at SS. PVD set was absolutely amazing. I met alot of TA's in the crowd.
My ears are still ringing. I was up front for the whole time.
I should have vids and pics up by the end of today. |

| i had alot of fun, if only it didnt rain it would make things soo much better. me and lee left at 9 cuz we couldnt take the rain. pvd played a new set which was surprising. he kept things nice and hard throughout the afternoon into the night. highlights were def lo-step-burma (sasha edit) and i really like that katana-one solid wave (sam sharp remix). he played both at spirit too. nice meeting all the regulars and some new ta's. k off to review spirit lol |

To all you people who are saying "It would have been so much better without the rain" Are you crazy!?!?? The rain made it insane, so much more fun and unique. I can't think of anything more fun than a couple thousand people soaking wet jumping up and down and dancing like crazy. This was by far the most fun I've had at an event in a long time. It was hilarious when Paul started handing out all the napkins they gave him to try to keep the decks dry cause of that stupid leak. And to whoever asked what track had the pianio in it around 9 oclock, that would most likely be Cosmic Gate - Bilingual. Highlight of the night for me was all during G&M Project - Sunday Afternoon. They just released all the balls and the lazers were going nuts in the rain, by the way all the lights looked so much cooler in the rain. And as for the mix of Satellite I'm pretty sure it was the Alx Oddens Flipside Vocal Mix.
The only dissapointing thing for the whole night was all the repeats he played at Spirit. I mean you needed a SS ticket to get into the afterparty, he really should have planned a different set. Half of the stuff he played there he played at SS. Still an amazing time in there though, and by far the coolest I have ever felt in a club, they kept the air conditioning flowing in there :)
And the only crappy part of the night was the 90 mph speeding ticket I got on the way home in between sets to dry off and change, lol, oh well :( |

but seriously ...was that a KILLAH party or wut? omg i have to say, i didnt have any high expectations for this since i really wasnt feeling it last year at all...but hot damn.... as soon as it began...he started, and as the beats got fiercer the rain came down perfectly orchestrated...and then around me all hell broke loose...i couldnt stop dancing ALL NIGHT and that was on PURE adrenaline and NRG...i dun even really remember what he played, it was all hard and not a lot of his productions but it was GREAT ~
iono mann..yeah i thought intiially the rain was gonna b an inconvenience, but it made the nite soo much different than a normal party...this was PVD and he was playing there in the rain...for us...it was soo special...
neways although i lost everyone when the music started, i did get to meet u all at the beginning so I was really happy about that, and then i met others as i walked around during the party ...great to see u Z, joey n his brother matt (i think that was his name), indy, fr0st and miss bliss, dan, trunks, ny1004, kidnyce, galapidate, oh god i know im missing others esp. the two or three TAs that recognized me -- i couldnt really hear ur names cuz of the music but it was great meeting u guys. |

Well said. Only thing I did not like is how he teased me with For an angel. I was hoping he played that track and when he did blah lol. |

Yeah I felt exactly the same way, I really wish he would have played that song in its entirety instead of the like 8 bars it gets in For a Revolt lol |
