yknow, i did that once. i was like four, and it was on my birthday. i got a bike with training wheels on it, and there was a small hole in our yard from a failed tree attempt. my sister was on the bike using it like an excercise bike over the hole, and she wouldnt get off. so i stuck my finger in the gear, it got sliced off. didnt really hurt, kinda scary though. |

ok that sounds funny but you should do that or possibly empty a few car batteries and stick the scissors in the acid. i think it would give you a sense of security knowing that the main thing that was affecting your phobia is gone. Well, atm it appears to be the main thing but if there a lot more then don't be ruining your whole kitchen knife drawer.

Dam man, so you only have 7 fingers and 2 thumbs?, or 8 fingers and 1 thumb? thats gotta suck, well prolly not for you anymore, you were young so you get used to it and are prolly fine, anyway I'll stop typing now cos I'm still stoned...ok bye bye. |

The exact same thing happend to a friend of mine also with a bicycle when he was a kid.
This thread reminds me of the butcher shop. You can spot trainee butchers by the blue bandages and cling wrap around their fingers.
The one thing I don't get the urge to do though is stick my hand on a stove , or in some boiling water or something with fire... I do like to make fire though. |

AaaaaaaAAhhhh irons bring back memories. When i was little i caught my inside arm on the iron when i was trying to reach something, could of been a bottle of coke.
Anyway about a week or 2 later,there was this big massive slide and to reach the top of it you have to climb up this brick walking path. I took a tumble and caught the scab on one of the bricks, hurt like hell! |

Me too... I've always wanted to jump on a huge fan that could keep me in the air, so I could know what it feels like to have the wind against all your body in a way that doesn't hurt/kill you. |
