It was nice seeing some of you guys at both SS and Spirit, and I thought that both sets were great, with the SS set being a little more interesting and rememorable...
For me, the hightlights of the night were:
Final Encore: Condor II - You can Kiss My Ass (Light of Day Mix)
I was surprised that Paul picked this 4 year old track out from his track database! (memories of EM from Home in London 2000)
Sean Tyas - Remember (When is this Getting Signed Sean!!!)
Pvd & Peter Heppner - Wir Sind Wir (Club Mix)
Sensorica - Few Days Away (Askew's Red Square Mix)
Castanada - Floor Control (Askew Mix)
Mojado feat. Mr. Sam - Naranja (Dimitri Andreas Vision Mix)
Illuminate - Montevideo (PvD Rework) <--- Bangin!!
J.L.N.D. - The Sound of Nothing (Unknown Mix) <--Great track!
Paul van Dyk - Buenaventura (Vinyl remix)
Again, it was an unbelievable 24 hours for me, and the day brought hope to the notion that Paul brings his "A" game when he comes to NY...

| Sorry but Naranja was DEFINITLY not played. - not at CP or Spirit. I wanted to hear it, thats how I know he didnt play it. |

| I would say that the party at Spirit was the best PvD party in recent history. He FINALLY dropped all the garbage from his playlist and played a nice hard set. The people at spirit were smart enough to keep the place nice and dark.. in short it was awesome. I think PvD's mixing was incredible. |

yeah i agree. it was amazing seeing pvd at the old twilo. i 'am still trying to grasp all of this. all my reviews in later days when i rest and get my brain back from this weekend. :p

because naranja was DEFINTELY played at spirit. i wanted to hear it, and he played it.
at spirit he opened with: Marcos - Red Bullet (Musikman Remix) [PvD Rework]
encore track at cp: kuffdam & plant - summer dream

he has played this at a few vandit nites. this original song is by new order, but the song that i heard at the vandit nites was a cover, but not the orgy one. it has been stumping us for a while...
since i wasnt there i cant comment, but i am 99.9% sure that this is a cover and it isnt the orgy cover. |
