| Ya, I get the chills sometimes when it's a track that I connect a lot of emotions and memories to |

when a track is good, almost immediately i'll have it on repeat...for a while it will be the first song i want to play at night and the last song i want to hear at night...
great tracks push and reveal a kind of emotion that i can't quite put into words, but both consciously and unconsciously, i know its freakin good, to say the least. |

| It defies description and is instantly recognizable. Something powerful rips through you, you don't just listen to the track, you _feel_ it. Anyway, words are nowhere near perfect to describe emotions, so I've given up... |

| I know its good when I can needle drop it anywhere and know its good. That is to say that ALL the elements in the song make musical sense and really contribute to the overall vibe (as opposed to one sample, the kickdrum, or other individual elements of a song). Also, I've found that to really hold my attention the song has to have solid percussion that fits in between 2 quarter notes, creating an interesting rythym that makes me want the breakdown. My 2 cents :D |
