This tournament has been awesome!!!! Many unexpected surprises, some awesome goals, brilliant match-ups, last minute equalisers and winners, England losing to France 2-1 :stongue: :stongue: :stongue:, unexpected winners,some disappointing exits from big name teams....what more do you want?
I have probably watched about 50% of the games live, and thats saying something when they start at 2am or 4:45 am (more recently) and i have uni exams on. It has just been too good to miss. |

come on dude, the French gameplay from this year is a ing joke, ze Germans have the worst selection of players in decades. The only thing the English team can do is play offensive for 5 minutes, score a goal and then they play defense for the rest of the match. Italy didn't create one decent goal scoring opportunity this tournament. And Spain never play a good tournament
and so on...
And I can say that I think that the Dutch team is better then the teams mentioned above. We have van Nistelrooij and Robben (and Makaay), the best offense in Europe in this moment. We have a very good midfield with Davids and Seedorf (who didn't play very good yesterday), our only problem is our defense, we do have Jaap Stam but for the rest it isn't all that good. But what's best about our team is that we have awsome players sitting on the bench. We have Sneijder, van der Vaart, Makaaij, Heitinga etc...) All very good players.
So I think we deserve to be in this semi-final |

Don't really agree with this. They were a lot stronger than Greece and Russia but simply lacked a good striker that could score.. Raśl was really out of shape. That right winger Joaquin was playing some awesome matches though. And vs. Portugul they were simply unlucky imo. |

Spain is always one of the favorites but they never come as far as everyone thought they would be |

I think this has been a great tournament so far. A lot of great games and few bad ones. A bunch of incredible goals. Owen against Portugal, Larsson against Bulgaria, Baros against Holland and Denmark, van Nistelrooy against Germany, Zlatan against Italy, Tomasson against
World Cup 2002. THAT was the worst tournament ever. |
