and i hate to say it because it gets posted in like every thread, but
Brian Eno - An Ending (Leama & Moor Mix)
is probably the perfect melancholic tune...very emotional...

| this isn't a trance tune and i know it may seem out of place but i was watching the simpsons episode where homer's mom comes back to see him. At the end when he is sitting on his car watching the stars and the credits are rolling, that combined with the song being played nearly brings to me to tears everytime. only one other time has that happened and that was when the ant died on honey i shrunk the kids |
