i really want to see michael moores documentary...i don't think i'll be able to catch it b4 the election...but i'm leaning towards a strategic NDP vote...
my view:
even though all 3 parties seem very shakey and there is hardly even a satisfyable choice, i think the only way canada will survive properly is with a liberal minority and an NDP opposition. Everyone has been against the liberal party, but the ppl that are should open there eyes to whats wrong with the conservative party and not transfer there vote. Why would we load money into the military at the expense of health care?? does that make sense? And when has canada ever seen fit to have a concervate/communist party run our country. The NDP has the best ideas in words, but not a strong enough party to even know what the hell they're doing in office, but they could have a strong voice as an opposition which could be best inforced through a liberal minority.

U.S.A. may be our largest trading partner but everytime we give into them we get ED!!!!
EXAMPLE: Lumber, Natural Resources, Fisheries etc. etc. and The USA protectionism list keeps growing everyday-->constantly renegging on NAFTA.
We always get the short end of the stick!
The problem with Conservative mentality is that they naively want an alliance to guarantee their security but their hunger for power blinds them into selling Canada out.
The Moron or idiot comment goes without saying for the Bush Administration. Too bad the hungry Media couldn't help themselves but publish irresponsibly to sell papers. That's what happens when Corporations are allowed to Act in their best interest. Hmmmm isn't that the motto of the Conservatives? To allow privatization so that they act in their best interest.

Its good to see someone else sharing my point of view on this subject...this has been the edgiest election i've witnessed since there is so much controvercy, and i'm very nervous about conservates taking power...polls right now suggest 32% liberal 31% conservative and 17% ndp...but this is only a poll and things often change rapidly in the real election. last time there was a federal election, i think the early poll suggested it was like 45% liberal, 28% conservative (or something like that). so this is really tight
ps. its cool how you have the party colours for everyone in the poll ;) |
