Here it is what I did for B&J remix contest... Since the original melody disappointed me, I tried to preserve other elements (harmony). Additional info:
Tempo: 130 BPM (unusual for trance, for this i called "pseudotrance")
Harmony: A m (as the original)
Judge it by yourself!

Starts of nice m8, simple but effective percussion, and some nice pads in it for sure! Bassline is ok, might be a little flat, but I like the easy-going feel it has. The mix hardly has elements from the original, except for the harmony and the "flowtation" vocal sample, but I liked listening to it!

thx! I've tried to do a sober intro, as in Tony Walker's Field of Joy (Ferry remix).
