| JJB is pretty meh, though I give him respect for putting his heart into the state scene for so long. Oakie should be decent, but its a case scenario... |

| I am definately going to this. Red Cheetah is a decent venue. A pretty big place compared to the rest of the clubs in this area. Should be a great show since it is EXTREMELY rare for a big name to come to my city. I am pumped and would like a TA meetup if enough people are interested. Let me know if anyone is interested in a meetup and I will set one up. I live real close to the club. |

Judging by the reviews of the Detroit show, I hope you guys aren't disappointed.
At least your friend won tickets and didn't pay for them. |

Oakenfold rocked the house in Cincy. From what I remember he played Tiesto-traffic (Sounded great live, never heard this in a club)
U2-Beautiful day
Southern Sun (I was so pumped to hear this classic)
He is an amazing crowd worker. He kept doing these real lengthy build-ups and break-downs that were getting the crowd to go wild.
The opening DJ was good as well, for he had a good tracklist of songs played.
I had a great time and recommend everyone see him when he comes to your town.
I saw him last year in Amsterdam at Paradiso, which was a huge crowd and also a good show, but it was great to see him at a smaller club where everyone was able to get up close and watch. |

I was at this show as well. There were some great tracks played, the mixing was pretty much spot on, and the crowd really seemed to be getting into it (strange for Cincy, not much trance/techno following around here it seems most times).
Wish I hadn't been so **tipsy** by the time Oakey went on, I can only remember about 1/3 of his set  About what time did he start playing? I really can't remember the time and DJ change  |
