System freezing directly after burning a CD (right after ejecting the newly burnt CD)

I'm using Nero 6 to burn a CD via Cuesheets that look like [below] and my system freezes completely after burning a CD (after ejecting. I recently installed a new CD drive above another one so, would a problem have to do with the master/slave/cable select settings? There's no markers on the drive to show which is which so I left the plastic piece where it was. I know my original drive is set to Slave and the new drive is set to something else but, I don't know what it's set to. If that isn't the problem, what else could it be? Thanks.

| If there was a problem with your drive jumpers your drives would not work at all, your pc would probabally not even boot. Anyhow, I've herd of people having similar problems with Nero. I would try and turn off the feature that ejects the disc after the burn and see if that fixes your problem. To do so open up Nero Burning ROM and select File -> Preferences. Click on the Expert Features tab and check the box that says "Do not eject the disc after the burn is complete". Hope that helps - |
